TESTING LEFT-RIGHT SYMMETRIC GAUGE THEORIES AT e+e− COLLIDERS

If the Standard Model is embedded in a left–right symmetric gauge theory at the TeV scale, the pair production of light W–bosons in ee collisions, ee → WW, will be affected by mixings in the gauge and neutrino sectors, and by the t–channel exchange of a heavy right–handed neutrino. The modification of the cross section by these new effects is studied for high–energy ee colliders.

Minimal Supersymmetric Left–Right Model

We revisit the minimal supersymmetric left–right model with B−L = 2 triplet Higgs fields and show that a self–consistent picture emerges with automatic R–parity conservation even in the absence of higher dimensional operators. FCNC in left-right symmetric theories and constraints on the right-handed scale

We revise the limits on the FCNC higgses in manifestly left-right symmetric theories. It is shown that the combination of the Kobayashi-Maskawa CP-violation with the tree level ∆S = 2 higgs exchange gives very large contribution to the CPviolating ǫ parameter. Left-right symmetry and supersymmetric unification.

The existence of an SU(3)×SU(2)L×SU(2)R×U(1) gauge symmetry with gL = gR at the TeV energy scale is shown to be consistent with supersymmetric SO(10) grand unification at around 10 GeV if certain new particles are assumed.
